Melidrussa Chillworn is the first boss in the dungeon, and luckily, it is quite easy to handle as long as you understand her basic mechanics. We will add official guides to each dungeon further down the road. During the Alpha version of the game, a majority of things will change or be tuned depending on feedback.

*DISCLAIMER* This is not a guide on how to play each boss, nor a guide on how to complete the instance, but an overview and my first impressions of the overall difficulty of the dungeon. One feature that is quite uncommon for the instance is that it is relatively short, consisting of only 3 bosses and quite a small number of non-boss-enemies, which indicates to me that this will be the shortest dungeon we have ever experienced ever since the creation of Mythic+ back in Legion. The Ruby Life Pools dungeon is located in The Waking Shores, on the south part of the zone, and is the 3rd dungeon to make an appearance on the Dragonflight Alpha. Ruby Life Pools - Dragonflight Dungeon Analysis Our latest dungeon analysis from the Dragonflight Alpha covers Ruby Life Pools! We’ll be looking more at Protection once the other trees are up to the same standard. We’ve been recently focused on the overall class, as we’ve been pleased with Protection and feedback that this talent tree is mostly in a good place. We’ll also likely make Titan’s grip baseline, as there’s no specific benefits (outside of weapon stats) for picking up this talent in comparison to others in the tree. There’s still work to do on individual talents (including a few additions) rather than the tree structure as a whole.Ĭurrently the Fury tree is undergoing some iteration and what you’re seeing in the Alpha today, unfortunately, has some key missing placements, connections, and a number of requirements that are not working correctly.

We’re happily getting close to the finish with the Arms talent tree.

We expect to have the full version of this in the next Alpha build, and once it’s live, we’d love to hear whether you prefer the wider choices or a more streamlined tree like we had in the initial version of the revamped Warrior class tree. The arrangement of Warrior talents in the Alpha at this time is a partial implementation towards opening up more options for each specialization.

Here are some notes from the class developers. For now, here is a summary of each artifact, tier requirement, waypoint, and other requirements.Blizzard clarified the Arms Warrior tree is still a work in progress and Titan's Grip will be baseline for Fury Warriors in the next Dragonflight Alpha build. You can find a detailed guide to each of the quests on Wowhead. And finally, tier 5 requires you to complete several puzzles after purchasing Research Report: Ancient Shrines from Archivist Roh-Suir. For the 3 rd tier, you will need a Teleporter Repair Kit to enter one of the two chambers in Korthia.Īt tier 4, you will find the artifact quests in the rift. At tier 2, you need to purchase keys from Archivist Roh-Suir to open chests. For the first tier, you can simply collect the artifacts from the location. Where you get the artifact quests from also changes based on your tier. When you reach the next tier, you can collect more artifacts. The number of items you can collect is based on your Tier reputation with Archivist’s Codex.

There are a total of 20 of these quests, and each one rewards 250 cataloged research. These are quests to return large artifacts to Archivist Roh-Suir. Another last way you can obtain cataloged research is through single turn-in quests.
